PREP ROUNDUP: Fairview, Hanceville, Lady Raiders debut in latest ASWA rankings

Fairview (baseball), Hanceville (baseball) and Good Hope (softball) all debuted in their respective classifications when the Alabama Sports Writers Association released its latest prep baseball and softball rankings on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs (9-2) were No. 8 in Class 3A. So, too, were the Lady Raiders (19-4) in 4A.

The Aggies (12-7) landed at No. 10 in the 4A poll.

Cullman (9-9), meanwhile, fell from No. 8 to No. 10 in the 6A rankings.

West Point (10-11) was nominated in 5A again.
