ASWA RANKINGS: Hanceville up to No. 5 in Class 3A poll; Addison’s girls climb to No. 9 in 2A

Hanceville’s varsity boys moved up one spot to No. 5 in Class 3A when the Alabama Sports Writers Association released its latest batch of high school basketball rankings on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs are 12-3 this season.

Cold Springs (10-4), Good Hope (8-2) and Cullman (11-3) were nominated in 2A, 4A and 6A, respectively.

Addison’s girls, meanwhile, climbed up to No. 9 in the 2A rankings. The Lady Bulldogs are 8-4 this season.

Cold Springs (10-4) remained No. 3 in 2A, while Cullman (12-2) dropped two spots to No. 9 in the 6A rankings.

West Point (12-2) was nominated in 5A.
