Cullman’s varsity girls improved to 9-2-1 this season following Saturday’s 5-0 home victory over Pell City.

Abby Branham booted two goals, while Pia Muri (two assists), Ashlei Bryant (one assist) and Mimi Lunsford delivered one goal apiece for the Class 6A No. 4 Lady Bearcats.

“We played awesome,” coach Jacob Brown said. “I am really, really happy with the outcome. Pell City is a solid team, and this was a big win despite the score. We hope to carry this momentum into the big part of our season now.”
