PREP ROUNDUP: Wilkins leads West Point to 6-1 victory over East Lawrence

West Point’s softball team kicked off the season with a 6-1 road victory against East Lawrence on Monday.

Carlie Wilkins struck out 13 and scattered seven hits to earn the win. She also contributed two hits and an RBI at the plate.

Makayla Brown had two hits as well, including a two-run homer, and two RBIs.

Bethany Minck also corralled two hits, while Molly Pendley, Gracie Abbott and Sydney Sellers notched a hit and an RBI apiece.
