PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Cullman’s boys finish 3rd at the Dew It On The Trails

Cullman’s boys cross country team placed third in the large-school division at the Dew It On The Trails on Saturday.

The Bearcats, who were led by Eli Wilhite’s fifth-place outing, were the top squad in Class 6A. Huntsville and Mountain Brook finished first and second, respectively, in the 5A-7A competition in Point Mallard.

Jackson Tucker (11th), Tucker Adkison (14th), Will Thompson (29th) and Edgar Medina (51st) also contributed for Cullman in the talented field of 19 programs.

The Lady Bearcats recorded 10th. Della Kelly (40th), Mattie Green (52nd), Jennifer Aviles (59th), Bernarda Tizapa (74th) and Tess Heaton (78th) represented the top runners for coach Trent Dean’s group.
