PREP VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW: Local teams set for season openers next week

Prep volleyball is right around the corner.
Teams all across the state can begin their respective seasons on Aug. 22 — no doubt with an eye on making it to the state tournament in Birmingham later in the fall.

Addison
2023 Record: 42-9

I’m excited for them and their potential. We are ready to play, but we know we have a long way to go. We know there are going to be some growing pains — new coach, new setters, people in new positions — but we are ready for them, ready to learn and draw closer through the struggles, and expect to get where we want to be by October.
