Published 11:47 am Wednesday, October 16, 2024
Holly Pond’s Sawyer Olinger put together a terrific — and efficient — performance last week.
The senior quarterback needed only two carries to record 86 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-0 road win against Asbury. He also corralled a pick-six and three assisted tackles on defense and even completed three passes to convert a trio of 2-point attempts.
He is The Times’ Athlete of the Week.
Athlete of the Week, which is sponsored by Mitch Smith Chevrolet, is open to all local athletes.
