This is the arts council’s second major event, following up its First Saturday festival in May.
The 19 artists featured in the festival are largely local, and there will also be performances by Gardendale dance studio Beverly’s Dance Unlimited, as well as other performers such as Neo Jazz Collective, and singer/songwriters Rick and Jilda Watson.
It won’t be all show-and-tell; a number of children’s art activities include clay art, nature rubs, painting on recycled wood for a communal art mural, working with wire and making kites.
Any artist who would like to participate and who has not signed up for a free booth can contact Carolyn Wass at info@fultondaleartscouncil.org.
