Trafford to host Octoberfest on Oct. 27

Trafford’s Octoberfest will be on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street. There will be lots of fun for everyone, including food, dramas, door prizes, inflatables for the kids and lots more. Come on out and enjoy all the fun.

• Happy birthday to: my cousin Jimmy Scott on Oct. 22; Diana Tyler on Oct. 22; and Samuel (Kirby) Leslie on Oct. 25.

• Happy anniversary to Billy and Tammy White on Oct. 22 and Lee and Shelly Bowman on Oct. 23.

• Trafford’s annual Christmas parade will be on Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. If you want to be in the parade, please be at the park no later than noon.

• Happy birthday to my nephew, David Glass on Oct. 29 and happy anniversary to his sister and brother-in-law (Crystal and Adam Singleton) on the same day. I hope it is wonderful.

• The bigger a man’s head is the easier it is to fill his shoes.
