Gardendale



Work Day and Homecoming

Sept. 29, Oct. 14 Friendship United Methodist Church will have a work day on Sept. 29 from 9-2. Lunch will be served. Come work and enjoy the fellowship. They will also have their homecoming on Oct. 14. Morning service at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served. Special singers Sacred Harvest will begin singing at 1:30 p.m.



Block Party

Sept. 30 Central Baptist Church will host a block party on Sept. 30 from 5 – 7 p.m in the church parking lot. This is a free event for the community and will offer hot dogs, hamburgers, dessert contest, games, lawn mower race, music, free prizes and more. Call 631-4231 for details. We are located near the soccer fields off Fieldstown Road.



Singing

Oct. 14 Homecoming will take place on Oct. 14 at Friendship United Methodist Church. Preaching will start at 11 a.m with lunch at 12:15 p.m. and singing at 1:30 p.m. Guest singers are “Sacred Harvest” and Van Belcher. Brother George Hollis, Pastor. 647-2442.



Fall festival

Oct. 28 The Gardendale Church of the Nazarene will host a fall festival on Oct. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. The festival will feature a rodeo, games, food and pony rides. This event is free to the public. For more information call 631-5452 ext 212.



Mount Olive



Oktober Festival

Oct. 6 Come join the fun at our annual Oktober Festival on Oct. 6 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. We will have crafts, live music, baked goodies, horseback rides, and more. Admission is free; booths are still available to rent for $30. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the building fund for our new sanctuary. Please call us at Mt.
