The Mortimer Jordan class of 1984 is planning a 25-year class reunion. Anyone who is interested can visit the Website www.mortimerjordanbluedevils.ning. and go to “class of 84.”

• The Morris Beautification Board held its open house recently and had a good turnout. They will have monthly meetings every third Thursday at the senior citizens center at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. You don’t have to live in Morris city limits to become a member. Some of the responsibilities of the board are planting and maintenance of flowers and shrubbery in the memorial park and other areas in the community. The board also remembers and honors the poor that are buried at Potter’s Field. At least two members of the board attend all funerals held at the Jefferson County Cemetery in Morris. A yard sale will be held this spring and fall to help raise money for the board. I will have more info at a later date.

• If you have any news for me to share, just let me know.

• Have a great week and remember school is out on Monday.
