Suspect arrested in Dollar General robbery

Gardendale Police announced Wednesday morning that they have made an arrest in the February 10 armed robbery of the Dollar General on New Castle Road. 

Police have charged Eric Jermaine Reedy, 25, of Birmingham, with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of third-degree theft of property. Gardendale Police said Reedy is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $30,000 bond for the Gardendale charges, but is also a suspect in other robberies in other areas of the county.
