2 Cullman men charged with selling meth

Two Cullman men have charged with selling methamphetamine following separate investigations by the Crime Suppression Unit of the Cullman Police Department.

On Nov. 13, investigators arrested Steven Douglas Coots, 28, of Cullman, on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance for selling methamphetamine. Coots was out on bond at the time of his arrest for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. 

He was booked in at the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since been released. 

On Nov. 14, officers arrested James Michael Thomas Criscoe, 31, of Cullman on three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance for selling methamphetamine, two counts of certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Criscoe was already incarcerated at the Cullman County Detention Center on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest.
