All Cullman County and Cullman City schools will close Friday with the threat of snow and ice across much of the state.

There is a 20 percent chance of light snow tonight. Friday brings a 50 percent chance through the evening.

Other closings Friday include:

• Wallace State Community College in Hanceville
• Vinemont Daycare Center
• Cullman First United Methodist Church’s Sonshine Preschool and Mom’s Day Out 
• CARTS buses will not run routes. 
• Cullman County Revenue Commission satellite offices in Hanceville and Dodge City.
