Former Mortimer Jordan baseball standout Garrett Suchey signs with Alabama

Former Mortimer Jordan and current Wallace State-Hanceville baseball pitcher Garrett Suchey has signed a baseball grant-in-aid with the University of Alabama.
The signing took place on Thursday at Wallace State, during the NCAA early signing period.

Suchey, a right-handed pitcher for the Blue Devils and then the Lions, has recovered from Tommy John surgery. He will finish his Wallace State career this upcoming spring, and begin at Alabama in the fall of 2016.
He also had offers from South Alabama, Troy, and Samford.
