Fultondale Elementary School will host a backpack give-away event Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the school gym. Alabama Compassion in Action is sponsoring the event. There will be a backpack for every student that is currently registered for the 2011-2012 school year. For students, there will be clowns and a dental care presentation. For parents, there will be prayer and financial counselors available.
