This year’s production, “Nunsense 3: Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Jamboree,” is set up as the first stop of a concert tour to promote Sister Amnesia’s album. Sister Amnesia will sing “I Could’ve Gone to Nashville,” the title song of her album, among other pieces.
“Each cast member has really done an excellent job of finding and being true to their character. Each have songs and lines that reveal their individuality and talents,” said co-director Donna Love.
Maxwell and Love both said that the cast has made a tremendous commitment of time and talent to the production.
“I encourage you to get you tickets early. It has been the mission of the arts council to provide the community with quality, entertaining events, and keep them as affordable as possible,” said Larry York, chairman of the arts council. “We do not make money on these. … It would not be possible without the use of the city’s facilities and cooperation of the staff.”
York said arts council members, cast and community volunteers put the show together from the set to the costumes.
“It is a huge effort,” he said.
