Our elected officials, employess, town and community did an outstanding job. The entertainment was superb, our booth of Vinemont history with Jane Teeter and Roger Walling was a huge successs, Air Evac helicopter on the ground, Regional Paramedic Services, for blood pressure checks was greatly appreciated. Susan, Janet and Christy, thank you for taking charge of the kids’ games — they had fun. Thanks to Tony Graves and Pastor Johnny Bennefield for your participation.
Vendor booths were also a new addition. Thank you for supporting our town. One if the highlights of the day was the skydivers and plane flyovers, so many comments on an excellent program.
Refreshments were beautiful, colorful and bright-compliments of Traditions, Premier Bank, Boondocks, Vinemont Coin Laundry, Cullman Truck Sales, Gaylon Drake CPA and the town of South Vinemont. Scout Unit 227 grilled hamburgers and hot dogs to sell to raise money for their supplies and camp. They also helped with clean up at the end of the day. This is an outstanding group of young people. Mike Pugh for your assistance in parking cars.
We are blessed to be closing out this year’s events with success and looking with optimism toward next year’s event. We really appreciate you taking time to enjoy our day with us.
