City of Fultondale forms arts council

We would like to thank everyone that attended the car show this past Saturday night. Mark your calendars for another one in May.
• Randy Posey of our street department and chamber of commerce has formed a Fultondale Arts Council. The council will meet on May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the club house in Chapel Hills.
• The Fultondale Chamber of Commerce will host “Teacher Appreciation Day” on May 4 for the high school.
• I would like to send my heartfelt sympathies to the family of Jimmy Durden, who passed away on April 28. Please remember them in your prayers.
• Our heartfelt sympathies go to the family of Tony Hamrick, son of Bert and Dean Hamrick, brother of Dari Walker and father of two beautiful daughters. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family. Please remember them in your prayers.
• Please remember our good friend Miss Polly Goodwin in your prayers.
• Happy anniversary wishes go to Connie and Steve Horton on April 28. Connie and Steve have been married for 37 years and have three beautiful daughters who love them very much.
• Happy anniversary wishes go to Ed and Brenda Hawkins on April 29. Brenda and Ed have been married for 43 years and are a great couple. They have two great children and four grandchildren that love them dearly.
