Eddie Junior Oden

Eddie Junior Oden, age 60 of Ooltewah, Tenn., formerly of Gardendale passed away January 22, 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, Tenn. and was a disabled U. S. Army Veteran (Vietnam). Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Glenda Brown Oden; daughters: Gina Oden Smith (Scott) of Mt. Olive and Wendy Oden Woodard (Jeremy) of Hayden; grandchildren: Madeline and Carson Smith and Daylon Woodard; mother, Pauline Oden of Gardendale; brother, Danny Oden of Hanceville. His funeral service was held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, is directing.
