Local paralympian Josh Roberts is headed for The 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. He is on the USA Track and Field Team. Josh will leave for Beijing at the end of August and will be there two months for training and competition. Congratulations Josh! We are so proud of you!

• The North Jefferson Soccer Club will host summer soccer camps for ages 4 to 14. Camp I will be held June 23-27 on Mon-day, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. You can pay the first night of camp. Summer Camp II will be held July 21-July 25 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Register early via e-mail by July 11 of pay first night of camp. Both camps include drinks and snacks, one free t-shirt and movie night on Friday night. The cost per player per family will be for one camp: one player, $25; two players, $45; and three players, $55. The cost per player per family for both camps: one player, $35; two players, $55; and three players, $75.
