Petting farm to host Farm Day

Sharitt Petting Farm has started a non-profit organization for therapeutic riding, activities and an animal sanctuary. Farm Day will be held June 21 at 10 a.m. They are raising money for the foundation. Admission is $25 a person and $15 a person if you do not want to go on the mini trail ride. • Happy Birthday to Addison Harmon who turned 2 on June 8. He is the son of Eric and Dana Harmon, who recently moved to Wetumpka. His mom, Dana Harmon, was a second grade teacher at Bryan Elementary School prior to their move.

• Father’s Day is tomorrow and I would be a horrible daughter if I didn’t wish my own “Diddy,” Danny Tesseneer, a happy Father’s Day. Anyone who knows my Diddy know that he is the most perfect man in the whole world. I have been so blessed to be raised by such a mighty man of God. I love you, Diddy.

• Brenda and Keith Hollis had a very big and eventful week during the week of May 19. On May 19, their youngest son, Lane Hollis graduated from fifth grade at Snow Rogers Elementary School and on May 22, Brenda’s oldest son, Trent Millican, graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School. On Monday, May 9, their daughter, Tiffany Hollis received the A-B honor roll certificate for having all As and Bs during the year. Brenda’s son, Trent Millican, left on June 10 for Army Advanced Training in Mississippi. Congratulations to all on their achievements.

• Happy 10th anniversary to Tim and Joy Clayton on June 20. It seems like you guys have been married forever. I hope you have a wonderful year and many more to come.
