Obituary: Terry Jay Yeager

Terry Jay Yeager, 53, of Warrior, died at home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, William Amos Yeager, and Dafphine Yeager McPherson; and a special friend, Jed Calvert.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pam Yeager; daughters, Mandy (Greg) Rogers, Emily (David) St. Clair, Nikki (Nick) Gilbert; step-daughter, Tracy (Anthony) Bailey; step-son, Dusty Myers; grandchildren, Gavin Rogers, Will Rogers, Ty Rogers, Rachel Kelly, Jacob St. Clair, Katelyn St. Clair, Ross Bailey, Preston Calvert, Jacob Bailey, Emma Bailey, Hannah Myers; brothers, Dan (Glenda) Yeager, Don (Sherri) Yeager; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Terry loved his family, Alabama Football, hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home in Warrior from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 with funeral to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 11 a.m. Terry will be laid to rest with his beloved parents at Morris Cemetery.
Terry retired from Reno Refractory in 2002 where he had worded since high school. Mr. Yeager was a loving husband, father, brother and friend with a heart as big as he was. He will be missed by many.
