James Monroe Garner

James Monroe Garner, age 81, born June 18, 1929 passed away Dec. 15, 2010.

Retired from Terminal Transport/American Freight Lines for 30 plus years.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Ester of 62 years.

He is survived by his son Terry (Nell) Garner and their children Patrick (Lisa) Garnerand daughter Grace; Kristen (Sean) O’Shea and sons Danny, and Cameron and daughter Kennedy Cate.  He is also survived by his daughter Joan (Mike) Lopez and their children Jennifer (Ed) Newland and their  children Erica, Ashley, and Kinlea; Sandy (Steven) Faulkner and children Sarah and Samantha; and son Chris. His survived by brothers, Billy (Judy)  Garner and Wiley (Bobbie) Garner and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Kilgore Green Funeral Home with funeral services Tuesday at 1 p.m. He will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church.

He will be remembered as a kind, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great friend to so many people and will be deeply missed by all.
