Family hopes yard signs will shame thieves into returning daughter’s stolen ATV

Dear “Pathetic Losers” who stole the ATV that 11-year-old Angelina Harden loved riding with her little dog—avoid driving down Second Street in McAlester, Oklahoma unless you want to feel really, really guilty.

Only Saturday, July 25, Harden’s Coolster all terrain vehicle was stolen off the back porch of her grandmother’s home, where she lives with her father, while her family slept.

“We were there when this happened — had to have been,” said Lisa Glenn, Harden’s grandmother. “It just doesn’t make sense.”

Currently unemployed, Robert Harden, Angelina’s father, said he is in no position to simply replace the ATV for his daughter.

But the family is in a position to fight back.

In addition to reporting the theft to police, the Hardens are crowdsourcing justice the old-fashioned way, spreading the word about the missing ATV (and maybe even shaming the thieves into returning it) not through social media but with homemade signs.

The message displayed to drivers on the propped up old door in their front yard?

“PATHETIC LOSERS 2 STEAL A LITTLE GIRLS 4 WHEELER.”

“We thought, ‘Really?'” Glenn said. “You know that’s pathetic, taking a little girl’s 4-wheeler like that.”
