Funeral services for Lela Mae Hunt Pinson, 88, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Holly Pond, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Elders Guy Hunt and Jerry Hunt officiating, with interment in New Hope No. 2 Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pinson died Thursday, Nov. 29, in Nashville. She was born on Sept. 12, 1919, in Cullman County to Garfield Haynes and Irene Carpenter Haynes. She was an accounting clerk with Loveman’s Department Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands, Alvin Hunt and Travis Pinson.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Julie) Hunt of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Dan (Judy) Hunt; a daughter, Linda (Harry) Cole; five grandsons, Steve, Allen, Jerry and Dean Hunt and Phillip Cole; a granddaughter, Stacy Stephens; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
