Tickets are on sale now for the annual Gardendale Chamber of Commerce banquet.

This year’s speaker is Gen. Dick Burleson, who rose to the rank of major general in the U.S. Army Reserve and who served as a Southeastern Conference football official for 25 years. He wrote a book about his time as a referee called, “You Better Be Right!”

His speech will be called, “Leadership in the Field.”

The banquet is Jan. 23, 6:30 p.m., at the Gardendale Civic Center Exhibition Hall.

Tickets are $25 each and are on sale at the chamber of commerce office at 2109 Moncrief Road or from any chamber board member or ambassador.

Corporate sponsorships are $300 and include a table for eight, company listing in the banquet program, alphabetical listing name display on the sponsor sign at the registration table, an ad on the chamber website and the company will be announced during the banquet.

Event sponsorships are $1,000 and include a table for eight, full-page ad in the banquet program, prominent name display on the sponsor sign at the registration table, ad on the chamber website, company name announced during the banquet and promotional materials on a display table.
