Vinemont didn’t mess around Friday.

The No. 7 Eagles (24-9) scored five runs in the first inning and 14 in the second to blow past Randolph County 19-2 and advance in the Class 3A playoffs.

Every player in the starting lineup recorded at least one hit for Vinemont, which finished with 17 in the game.

Rylan McRae led the way with four hits, including a home run, and seven RBIs. Jake Hale also netted four hits.

The Eagles will face Elkmont or Phil Campbell in the second round next week.
