2 Cullman residents facing drug charges

Two Cullman residents are facing methamphetamine charges after an investigation by the Cullman Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit and the Northeast Alabama State Drug Task Force.

According to a press release from CPD, Tanya Lynn Johnson was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance x2, attempt to commit a controlled substance crime and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Wayne Sterling was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  

The arrests stemmed from multiple incidents. Both subjects were transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where they were booked and have since been released.
