West Point’s varsity girls are off to a 6-0 start to the 2019-20 season.

And they’ve been extremely impressive, too — winning by an average of 30.5 points per game.

Leading the way offensively was Miriam Oldacre.

The Montevallo commit claimed 79 points this past week, helping the Lady Warriors earn five victories.

She scored 12 against Vinemont, 11 against Hanceville, 16 against Clay-Chalkville, 22 against Jasper and 18 against Good Hope. She also had several assists, rebounds and steals.

Oldacre is The Times’ Athlete of the Week.

Lexi Shadix, Sheridan Bowers and Molly Pendley also had solid weeks for West Point, scoring double digits in multiple matchups.

Shadix had 16 against Vinemont, 10 against Hanceville, 25 against Clay-Chalkville, 13 against Jasper and 13 against Good Hope.

Bowers had 12 against Vinemont, 18 against Hanceville and 15 against Good Hope.

Pendley had 10 against Clay-Chalkville and 12 against Good Hope.
