Lewis was known to investigators to have multiple felony warrants with Cullman Police Department.

Investigators arrested Lewis on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

According to the Cullman Police Department, the distribution charges were the result of multiple undercover operations conducted by Investigators Craft, Sanford, and Becky Boyd in which Lewis had sold crack cocaine in Cullman.

During Sunday night’s encounter, Lewis’s passenger Brittany Hill was arrested by Officers Cole Kelley and Tyler Jackson.

Hill is alleged to have been in possession of multiple plastic baggies that each contained crack cocaine, and was charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
