The Cullman Police Department recently arrested 12 people from Berlin, Vinemont and Cullman as they executed multiple search warrants over the last few days.

Sgt. Chris Thomason, Sgt. Intae Suh, officers Trey Higginbotham, Dustin Colburn and Cole Kelley executed the warrants, and recovered heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription pills, weapons and cash.

Charges range from unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; illegal possession of prescription drugs and carrying a concealed weapon. Several subjects also had outstanding warrants at the time of their arrests.

Sgt. Thomason would like to recognize all of the hard work and effort put in by each and every officer on a daily basis to try and keep as many drugs off the street as possible.

Holden Burrone, 23, of Berlin was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Burrone was out on bond at the time of the arrest for a previous drug charge. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since made bond.

Ramona Riggs, 18, of Berlin was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Riggs was out on bond at the time of the arrest for a previous drug charge. She was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she has since made bond.

Justin Barnes, 25, of Berlin was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since made bond.

Timothy Boone, 23, of Berlin was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and also had outstanding felony warrants at the time of his arrest. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he remains incarcerated.

Donna Marcum, 54, of Berlin was arrested on her outstanding felony warrant with the Cullman Police Department for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she has since made bond.

Ronald Gregory Witcher, 58, of Berlin was arrested on felony probation warrants. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he remains incarcerated.

Everette Eugene Sims, 44, of Cullman was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since made bond.

Kimberley Ann Sims, 49, of Cullman was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she has since made bond.

Janice Michelle Taylor, 50, of Cullman was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she has since made bond.

James Christopher Caudle, 43, of Vinemont was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon. Caudle was out on bond for a previous drug charge at the time of his arrest. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he has since made bond.

Cristina Lynn Schafer, 39, of Vinemont was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs. Schafer was on probation at the time of her arrest. She was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where she remains incarcerated.

Phillip Author Canada, 42, of Vinemont was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs. Canada also had outstanding warrants with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office at the time of his arrest. He was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he remains incarcerated.
