Addison easily advanced in the Class 1A playoffs on Thursday, powering past Skyline 22-0 and 18-0 in a home doubleheader sweep.
The Bulldogs set the tone in the opener by registering eight hits and 13 runs in the first inning alone. They continued that hot hitting in the nightcap, building a 9-0 advantage by the end of the third frame and continuing to add on down the stretch.
Addison notched 32 hits across the two games and will face off against Spring Garden or Pickens Academy in the second round next week.
The No. 3 Bulldogs, who have won 15 straight games, improved to 23-8 on the season.
