The 20th Annual Empty Bowls of Cullman County, a fundraising dinner held on behalf of the Cullman Caring for Kids Food Bank, was held Feb. 17 at Cullman’s First United Methodist Church.
The event features homemade chili, fellowship and entertainment, with each guest taking home the locally crafted clay pottery vessel in which the dinner is served. From modest beginnings in Cullman more than two decades ago, Empty Bowls has grown to become a can’t miss highlight on the annual local calendar, drawing throngs of on-site guests.
