Regions Bank will close its Alabama 157 branch and consolidate its services into the 2nd Avenue branch.

The bank sent notices to customers in May.

“We are consolidating that branch by Aug. 23. It’s something all banks are having to look at with traffic and transactions at individual sites,” said Mel Campbell, a spokesman for Regions.
