GARDENDALE ARRESTS

• 9/1: A Hoover woman, 22, was arrested at the 300 block of Tarrant Road on charges of possession of a controlled substance

• 9/2: A Centerpoint man, 34, was arrested at the 500 block of Tarrant Road on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana 2nd, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia

• 9/4: A Gardendale man, 25, was arrested at a Gardendale residence on charges of domestic violence by strangulation

• 9/4: A Bessemer woman, 22, was arrested at the 600 block of Fieldstown Road on charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance

• 9/6: A Pinson man, 26, was arrested in Birmingham on charges of negotiating a worthless instrument
