Middle school basketball: Bragg 8th grade boys 65, Irondale 39

Bragg Middle’s eighth-grade boys basketball team improved to 14-2 on the season Monday night by defeating Irondale 65-39.
Demetrius King led the Rockets with 17 points, Seth Rodgers scored 15 and Omari Burton had nine.
The Rockets will return to action Thursday, playing at arch-rival North Jefferson.
