Wallace State’s baseball team will host a camp from Wednesday and Thursday for those ages 13-18 at James C. Bailey Stadium. Current and former Lion baseball players, NJCAA Hall of Fame coach Randy Putman and assistant Adam Scott will provide two days of one-on-one personal instruction, group activities and knowledge about America’s pastime. The camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Registration forms can be accessed at www.wallacestate.edu by clicking on the baseball page. The registration fee is $100 or $60 for siblings. A walk-up fee the day of the camp is $110. Make checks payable to Wallace State baseball.
Campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch or will be given an hour to pick something up. Campers are asked to provide their own bat, glove, helmet, cleats, pants, sunscreen and any other complementary items you prefer.
