Morring-Kennington engagement

Carolyn S. Morring of Cullman is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Lorna Morring of Salt Lake City, Utah, to Fredrick Jasen Kennington of Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Dr. Lester B. Kennington and Carolyn K. Kennington of Castle Rock, Washington.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Don Morring of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of Isom L. Stephens of Layton, Utah and the late Ida R. Stephens of Layton, Utah, the late Billie Morring of Harvest, Alabama, and the late Irma G. Morring of Harvest, Alabama.
Miss Morring graduated with a national merit scholarship from Grissom High School in Huntsville; a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in molecular biology; and received a master’s degree in cell biology from Vanderbilt University. She is currently employed with Amirsys, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Anna N. Kennington of Springville, Utah, and the late Harvey L. Kennington of Springville, Utah, Fred D. Kulbeth and Patricia P. Kulbeth of Wilmar, Arkansas.
Mr. Kennington is a graduate of Mountain Home High School in Mountain Home, Idaho; a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a bachelor of arts degree in photography. He is currently attending the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, while working on his master’s degree in computer science. He served two years in the Zurich, Switzerland Mission as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is presently employed with Deep Clarity Solutions in Highland, Utah.
The wedding is planned for 10 a.m. April 14, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.
