McSwain – Rutherford

Kalie Brooke Rutherford and Kyle Steven McSwain were united in marriage Oct. 2, 2010, at 5 o’clock in afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents.
Reverend Elton Rutherford, grandfather of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Wedding music was provided by Kim Dial, vocalist, Ricky Cornelius, keyboardist, and Keith Sellers, in charge of sound.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Jacqueline Rutherford of Cullman.
The groom is the son of Steve and Lisa McSwain of Cullman.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of diamond white chiffon
over charmeuse satin. The empire-waist bodice featured a sweetheart neckline of shirred chiffon and a smooth belt under the bustline, embellished with a medallion of handsewn seed pearls, iridescent beads and Austrian crystal rhinestones. The flowing skirt cascaded from the waist to floor length and fell into a sweep train.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of mixed deep red and ivory roses. The stems were wrapped with satin gold ribbon.
Becky Rushing, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor. Morgan Goodwin served as maid of honor. Each wore a tea-length pumpkin spice silk dress accented with a satin waist and carried hand-tied bouquets of deep red and orange roses.
Ava Jo Rushing, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. She wore a tea-length antique white dress adorned with pearls and sequins. She carried a round satin basket with sparkling rhinestones and filled with rose petals from the bride’s bouquet.
Dylon McSwain, brother of the groom was ring bearer. He carried a pillow of white satinĀ encrusted with a rhinestone broach which matched the flower girl’s basket.
Steve McSwain, father of the groom, served as best man, while Chad Rutherford, brother of the bride, served as groomsman.
Scott Rutherford, brother of the bride, and Dylon McSwain, brother of the groom, served as ushers.
Tiffany Hinkle, friend of the bride, and her family, directed the wedding.
Friends and family enjoyed an evening of casual dining enhanced by the favorite music of the bride and groom.
