Fultondale wins five-straight matches

The Fultondale Wildcat wrestling team has started the 2007-08 season off with five straight dual-match wins.
Fultondale has whipped Walker, Shades Valley twice, Minor and Shelby County.
Fultondale 57,
Walker 21
Justin Hirtle, Aaron Martin, Brett Pennington, Noe Valladares, Alec Williams, Wesley Horn and Jeff Ingram all won their matches by pin.
Chris Self won a 14-7 decision and Sam Robles and Jaccob Glisson won by forfeits.
Nick Spradling won his match, but then had to forfeit it because of a weight issue.
Hirtle’s match was lasted only 24 seconds.
Ingram won in 1:15, Martin won in 1:21, Williams in 1:35, Pennington in 2:41, Horn in 3:43 and Valladares in 4:26.
Fultondale 65,
Shades Valley 12
Adam Powell, Chris Cotton, Pennington, Ingram and Glisson all won by pins. Martin won by tech fall at 16-0.
Steven Dodgen, Valladares, Williams, Horn and Robles won by forfeit.
Powell was the Wildcat with the shortest time needed to pin his opponent as he won in 40 seconds, taking three seconds less than Pennington’s match did
Glisson won in 53 seconds, Cotton in 57, Ingram in 1:57 and Martin in 3:28.
Fultondale 57,
Shelby County 18
Hirtle, Martin, Cody Evans, Ryan Randall, Slef, Pennington, Valladares and Williams all won by pin.
Robles won a 10-4 decision and Powell won by forfeit.
Hirtle won in only 15 seconds, while Pennington won in 25 seconds, Williams in 30, Evans in 45, Randall in 47 and Valladares in 49.
Martin won in 1:53 and Self in 2:35.
Fultondale 60,
Minor 24
Randall, Pennington, Valladares, Williams and Robles all won by pins.
Pennington won in 34 seconds.
Robles won in 2:46, Randall in 2:47, Williams in 4:32 and Valladares in 4:50.
Hirtle, Powell, Martin, Evans and Self won by forfeits.
Fultondale 69,
Shades Valley 10
The Wildcats finished off a quad-match on Thursday by routing Shades Valley for the second time in nine days.
Matt Johnson, Martin, Kaleb Donaldson, Self, Pennington and Brandon Nelson all won by pins.
Self’s match took only 20 seconds.
Pennington won in 1:27, Donaldson in 1:46, Johnson in 2:39 and Nelson in 3:48.
Powell won a 13-6 decision. Cody Evans, Henry Ray, Williams, Horn and Robles all won by forfeits.
