MONTGOMERY — Good Hope kept its season alive following a 5-0 win against No. 5 American Christian Academy at the Class 4A state tournament on Friday.

The seventh-ranked Lady Raiders (33-10) will play either No. 3 North Jackson or No. 6 White Plains later tonight in the losers’ bracket.

Bailey Swann (two RBIs), Sidnie English (two RBIs) and Skylar Tucker corralled two hits apiece, while Angelina Flanigan (RBI) and Jacqueline Hays each racked up one.

English earned the win in the circle, scattering five hits and one strikeout.
