Warrior/Corner/Hayden News: Use aspirin to aid seed germination

Garden tip: Place one-and-a-half uncoated aspirin in two gallons of warm water with this mixture pour over the seed bed. This is a great way for germination of seeds to improve almost to 100 percent. You will see the results.

• Happy birthday greetings go to: Bryan Blackmon on March 30; Deanna (Dee Dee) Eady on April 1; Jewel Owens and Angela Huguley on April 2; Sarah Burton and Billy Joe Mikell on April 8; and Sue Crane Oldham on April 9. I wish for you the greatest birthday and year.

• The Warrior alumni annual reunion banquet date will be April 18 at the high school gym at 3 p.m. Dress casual. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. This year, the classes of 1939, 1949, 1959 will be recognized. Thanks to everyone that helped purchase the folding tables last year. We need 15 more. Thanks in advance.

• Stewart’s Chapel Church will have a Passover supper tomorrow at 6 p.m. Peggy Foster will tell the story of the Passover. Pastor Kilgore is the pastor.

• Pray for Essie Mae Lowe and Erskine James. They need your prayers at this time.

• Sympathy and prayers are need for the family of Margie Pearson Smith. She will be greatly missed and our love and prayers are for all the family at this time of their loss.
