Officials gathered Wednesday for the Kimberly Senior Center ribbon-cutting ceremony.

On hand for the event was Kimberly Mayor Sammie Maze and Councilwoman Diane Dake; Jefferson County Commission President Bettye Fine Collins; Kimberly Senior Center director Jody Newman; Dr. Fredrick Hamilton, Office of Community Development; William M. Voigt, executive director of the Jefferson County Office of Senior Citizens Services; OSCS nutrition coordinator Eloise Staples and other guests. About 60 people attended the event.
