Gardendale’s Molly Winnett signs golf scholarship
Gardendale High golfer Molly Winnett signs on the dotted line Wednesday as she accepts a scholarship to Kennesaw State in Georgia. Winnett was part of the Rockets girls golf team that finished second in the state in Class 5A for the past two years. Last month she won a Southeastern Junior Golf Tour event in Fort Payne after a playoff. Joining her at the signing are her parents, Bobby and Laura, and Rockets coach Taylor Parsons (standing).
