The Alabama Department of Transportation must perform Emergency Bridge Deck Repairs effective immediately to install a steel plate to cover a small hole that has developed on the I-59/20 Southbound Civic Center Bridge at Milepost 126, as follows:

• This repair requires the closure of the center and outside (right) lanes of I-59/20 SB in the area of the work.  

 All travel lanes will be re-opened to traffic as soon as possible.

 Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
