Judy Shae Cherry, age 53, of Warrior, left this walk of life to receive her heavenly reward with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2008. Services were held at Kimberly Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. with burial in Liberty Minter Cemetery. Bro. Butch Kilgore officiated. Judy leaves behind to cherish her love and memories, her husband of 37 years, Gary; daughters, Christina Cherry Cozzi and her husband Jeff; son, Patrick Cherry; daughter, Lori Cherry; granddaughters, Breanna Cherry and Tabitha Cozzi; parents, Carlos and Christina Williams; one sister; one brother; and her “Guardian Angel” Don Piatt. Judy was the most loving and protective mother and grandmother to her jewels in her life being her children and granddaughters. Being such a strong willed women provided her with the courage and strength to fight her battle with breast cancer since 2001. Judy was often referred to as “tough as they come with the mold being broke with her.” Judy’s family would like to extended their gratitude and sincere thanks to their close family, the Glenn Mulligan family; close friends, their hospice family, Hope Hospice and to their community and extended friends and family members for their prayers and support.
