McKinstry hits winning shot as Fultondale tops Oakman
The Fultondale boys basketball team improved to 3-1 on Monday night with a 75-74 win at Oakman.
GaQuincy McKinstry broke an even game when he worked his way to the charity stripe with no time remaining. His make served as the difference maker for the Wildcats.
Fultondale was led offensively by Tyme Andrews, who finished with 30 points and four steals. Roosevelt Banks added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the visitors. On the defensive end it was Jayson Jones that nabbed five steals to go with seven points and six assists.
Fultondale (3-1) welcomes Corner on Tuesday night. The girls varsity is scheduled for 5 p.m. with the boys immediately following.
