Cullman Regional Foundation to host Gala XVI April 29
The annual Cullman Regional Foundation Gala takes place at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Cullman Civic Center. Gala XVI’s theme, “Growing Today For A Better Tomorrow,” will feature a lovely dinner and special program with a silent auction along with an evening of dancing.
“The annual event recognizes individuals who have played a significant role in advancing healthcare for our community through Cullman Regional,” said Foundation President, Champ Crocker. “We are pleased to announce the H.C. Arnold Humanitarian Award honoree, Dr. Lori McGrath and the Dr. Herman C. Ensor Excellence in Heath Care honoree Dr. Howard Williamson.” The Foundation will also honor Mrs. Deborah McAfee and Mrs. Amy Wood for the Spirit of Volunteerism Award and will recognize Mr. Jerry Jacob as the honoree for the Commitment To A Cause Award.
The Cullman Regional Service Guild members help with the organization of the Gala and are led by President Cindy Ponder. Annual fundraising events like the Gala give community members an opportunity to become more involved in local philanthropy.
The event will host live entertainment by Edd Jones Orchestra and a special dinner catered by Designs by Grace. Tickets for Gala XVI are now available for $150 each and reservations are now being accepted. If organizations are interested in table sponsorships they may contact the Foundation office by April 17.
