Eldridge Melvin, age 83, of Pinson, was called home on Friday, August 15, 2008. Funeral services were held at Masseyline Baptist Church with burial in Masseyline Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Jones and Bro. Benny Johnson officiated. Survivors: wife of 58 years Ruby Mae Melvin; daughters; Diane (Harland) Miller; Dinah (Michael) Holmes; Kathy (Randy) Matthews and son Donnie Ray (Patricia) Melvin, grandchildren; Tonya, Shannon, Vanessa, Brandy and Crystal, great-grandchildren; Hannah, Brittney, Tiffany, Liz and Brooklyn and many extended family and friends.
